Regarded as an expert in communicating all aspects of dying and death, her seminars and workshops are hugely popular. As a "midwife" to the dying, she also works on a one-to-one basis with those in the very last stages of life, helping people to die with compassion, love and dignity. Our Vision

The Hospice of the Heart aims to explore ways of lifting the great taboo, dissolving fears and developing new and uplifting approaches to the arena of dying and death
Our innovative educational programme is gaining both respect and hearts and minds throughout hospitals, hospice and care homes as well as countless individuals who have been inspired to improve the deaths of those close to them and everyone around them after learning what can be done to improve the dying process.
The Gentle Dying Method is fast becoming a benchmark for how we can best help people to die with tranquility when modern medicine has reached its limits and human touch and tenderness become of utmost importance in ensuring a good death.

We hope that our Gentle Dying method will be used by carers and families across the UK and perhaps further a field

For details of our courses please look at the courses section of this website.

Dying is an intimate, sacred process. It’s best done in its own time, in a tranquil and peaceful way

Can we make death a better experience for those dying and for those grieving?

We think so !
